The Software Implementation Consultant plays a key role in the implementation of SalesPad software by providing business process consulting, system configuration, technical assistance, and training. The Software Implementation Consultant is responsible for ensuring the customer’s success in using SalesPad software to improve their overall business performance.
As an Implementation Consultant, the typical day includes:
Installing & configuring software in server and/or local environments
Navigating Microsoft SQL server to query database information
Providing business process, software, and project expertise to clients
Performing business requirements analysis based on feedback from clients during project kickoff calls
Gathering and mapping business process requirements to software functionality, determining gap/fit, and designing solutions for any identified gaps
Identifying and recommending product customizations, enhancements, and/or workarounds to improve the client’s experience
Creating and/or modifying custom reports using the DevExpress report designer and/or SQL queries
Training users on new business processes and use of SalesPad software
Performing hands-on software configuration to customer specifications
Trouble-shooting and resolving issues resulting from system configuration
Communicating with clients and team members
This is the job for you if:
You have 2 or more years’ experience with ERP Software (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics GP, etc.)
You know distribution and/or manufacturing processes
You’re organized and can easily maintain multiple large-scale projects simultaneously
You have a bachelor’s degree in one or more of the following: Business, Accounting, Management/Computer Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or related program
You’re experienced with software configuration, prototyping, and testing using leading ERP software solutions, such as SAP, Oracle E-Business Suite, JD Edwards, Microsoft AX, IFS, Infor, and Epicor
You know your way around SQL servers, databases, and server environments
You’re passionate about serving clients in the Manufacturing and Distribution industry
You’re an exceptional presenter, organizer, and documenter
You’re an intuitive problem solver with business analysis skills
You learn quickly and communicate ideas clearly
You’re able to engage with technical resources, give phenomenal customer service, and learn continuously
