Video Production Intern

SalesPad is looking to hire a Video Production Intern to assist with customer and partner promotional and instructional videos. The projects will range from simple how- to video tutorials for basic elements of different SalesPad applications to more promotional videos with goals of increasing sales leads for different product lines. As part of the Marketing team, the Video Production Intern will get the opportunity to get hands-on, corporate video production experience while working for one of the largest software companies in West Michigan.

Job Responsibilities

• Writing, filming, and editing tutorials, product overviews, advertisements, conference presentations, internal training videos and customer stories;
• Coordinating resources and information to create compelling, complete video projects;
• Managing timelines to deliver video projects on time;
• Assisting in the creation of a video content library to support product releases and launches;
• Coordinating internal video requests;
• Maintaining proper project documentation (music and image licenses, releases, etc.);
• Updating existing videos to match new branding guidelines;
• Assisting in media transfer, storage and archival;
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects;
• Experience using DSLR cameras for video production;
• Good planning and organizational skills;
• Photography, sound editing, and AV experience a plus;
• Able to clearly communicate and translate product marketing needs into compelling video.
• Working toward a B.S./M.S. in marketing, communications, journalism, film production, film studies, or media arts.
