Developers perform a variety of programming assignments that require knowledge of established object-oriented programming paradigms within a .Net environment. They are responsible for creating, maintaining and modifying desktop client solutions within the SalesPad's software suite, which include tightly coupled integrations with products like Microsoft™ Dynamics GP. Developers will work within a team to complete project objectives and will take part in code reviews, learning initiatives, team building events, and architectural discussions. They will also work with customers and other development and non-development teams to help refine use cases, troubleshoot issues with desktop and custom solutions, implement new or enhanced features and assist moving assigned features through the entire SDLC.
Tasks will vary, but will typically include the following:
Execute full Agile software development life cycle.
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
Integrate data storage solutions.
Working with clients to define and create custom features to fulfill their business requirements.
Document use cases and keep training materials up to date.
Working well with and being productive in a collaborative team environment.
Provide support to end users.
Implement new features using product owner specifications.
Maintaining confidentiality with regard to information processed, stored, or accessed at SalesPad.
2+ years of software development experience
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Strong in Object Oriented Programming, MVC, Design patterns and SOLID principles
Strong attention to detail
Proficient in C#.Net
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
Familiarity with Relational Databases and SQL
Familiarity with agile environments
Understanding of best practices for building applications with peak performance and reliability.
Results-oriented attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to document requirements and specifications.
